Dr. Mrinal K. Das is the Senior Director of Technical Marketing at onsemi’s Power Solutions Group – SiC Power Division. His primary responsibility is the strategic alignment of onsemi’s SiC technologies with the needs of the power conversion market. He has been at the leading edge of SiC technology for the past three decades beginning with his graduate studies on SiC MOSFETs at Purdue University followed by industry roles in technology and business at Cree/Wolfspeed, Texas Instruments, and Sanan IC previously. He completed B.S.E.E. and B.A. degrees with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. He also completed M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Purdue University. Dr. Das is a Senior Member of the IEEE and the inventor of over 40 registered patents.
