## CS International 2026

- Edition: 16th
- Dates: 20-22 April 2026
- Venue: Sheraton Hotel, Brussels, Belgium

> CS International 2026 returned to Brussels for two days of focused, in-depth coverage of the compound semiconductor industry, drawing the community together across materials, devices, and applications. Part of an AngelTech week that welcomed over 800 attendees and a sold-out exhibition floor, the conference featured a packed programme of presentations and panel discussions reflecting the pace of innovation across GaN, SiC, microLEDs, advanced laser technologies, and the ultra-wide bandgap materials shaping the next generation of devices.
>
> What set this year apart was the depth of the conversation around real-world applications. Speakers and delegates explored how compound semiconductor innovation is translating into impact across AI infrastructure, data centres, automotive, healthcare, and sensing - not as isolated breakthroughs but as part of a wider, interconnected value chain. The addition of Advanced Packaging International alongside CS, PIC, and Power Electronics this year reinforced that point, with delegates moving freely between sessions and exhibition stands to see how materials, devices, packaging, and systems now operate as one ecosystem.
>
> But the real value of CS International continues to be measured in conversations rather than counts. Three days under one roof with the engineers, founders, foundries, and end-users shaping the industry - that's where partnerships form, business gets done, and the next wave of innovation takes root. CS International 2026 delivered on that promise at greater scale and with greater connection than ever before.

> It is great to reflect on the fifteenth CS-International conference held on Brussels on 8th and 9th April 2025. It was amazing to see the continued freshness and enthusiasm from more than 700 delegates representing our vibrant compound semiconductor community at this premier industry event. With more than forty excellent talks covering five themes, the intense two-day conference explored in depth, the role of compound semiconductors across a wide range of applications including: GaN - Going beyond fast charging; Maintaining momentum for the microLED; Optimising opportunities for SiC success; Expanding the emission envelope; and Ultra-wide band-gap materials: The ultimate devices.
>
> As in previous years, there was an infectious buzz around this year's event starting at the reception on Monday evening and extending through the conference at the various networking sessions and interactions with exhibitors. My thanks go to our sponsors, partners, and exhibitors for making this event possible, and to everyone attending and supporting CS-International 2025 as the premier forum for our global semiconductor community.

## CS International 2024

- Edition: 14th
- Dates: 16-17 April 2024
- Venue: Brussels, Belgium

> Tackling climate change understandably gets less media attention these days, with the focus shifting to the coverage horrendous conflicts around the globe. But the need to cut carbon footprints and get a grip on global warming is still of vital importance - and got the justifiable prominence it deserves at this year's CS International. At this conference, held in Brussels on 16 and 17 April, many speakers detailed efforts to streamline the production and increase the volume of energy-efficient wide bandgap devices, while others outlined how optoelectronic devices can play their part in tackling climate change.

## CS International 2023

- Edition: 13th
- Dates: 18-19 April 2023
- Venue: Sheraton Hotel at Brussels Airport

> It's of no surprise that advances associated with the high-volume manufacture of wide bandgap power devices took centre-stage at CS International 2023. With sluggish handset sales providing a headwind to the GaAs microelectronic market and the production of commercial displays based on microLEDs still to really commence, there is good reason why much of the coverage of this two-day meeting, held at the Sheraton Hotel at Brussels Airport on 18-19 April, centred around ramping and improving the production of GaN and SiC power devices and modules.

## CS International 2022

- Edition: 12th
- Dates: 28-29 June 2022
- Venue: Brussels, Belgium

> Speakers at CS International highlighted how GaN devices are now combining higher blocking voltages with exceptional efficiency, delivering incredibly high power densities in the RF, and covering all of the visible spectrum in the form of the microLED. Strengthening its well-established credentials, CS International continues to cover the biggest breakthroughs within the compound semiconductor industry.

## CS International 2021

- Edition: 11th
- Dates: 26-27 March 2021
- Venue: Brussels, Belgium

> A great conference has to excel on many fronts. It has to feature a wide range of engaging presentations from leading companies, helping delegates to identify the most important markets for tomorrow; it has to attract a good number of attendees that network, sharing their insight; and has to include many exhibitors, offering opportunities to improve productivity.
